A Picture Update

We made a trip down to Alabama in order to attend Cortney’s wedding on March 10 and we had such a great time!  We actually ended up getting to see almost everybody from my family as well because they were so excited to see Charlotte for the first time :)  Abigail and Charlotte both traveled really well and handled all the schedule changes like champs (not only did we change time zones, but daylight savings time occurred during that weekend as well!).

Cortney and Jeff had a beautiful wedding and Raymond was honored to give her away alongside his brother, Lance.

Here are some of the pictures from that weekend:

21-0: Bama’s 14th National Championship

On Monday, January 9th Meghan and I gathered with several of our friends to root for our favorite college football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.  Oddly, we gathered with some close friends who happened to be die hard LSU fans…thankfully it didn’t take much for Nick Saban and the Tide to kill them or their season!

Aside from the technical difficulties we experienced when we tried to live stream the game from our computer to the TV, it was a fun evening.  We ate chili made by Suzanne, avocado dip made by Hannah, Hummus dip made by Laura and cookies made by Meghan…basically the guys and I enjoyed the handiwork of our wives!

Here are some pictures of our time together.

Sweet Home Alabama. Either way, #RollTide

This past week, I had the opportunity to preach at the USM BSU in Hattiesburg, MS on Tuesday and Thursday. So, since we were so close to Alabama Meghan and I decided to visit my family. We spent all day together: talking, eating, laughing, shopping, eating, taking pictures, eating, drinking coffee, eating, etc.

While in Mobile, AL Meghan and I learned that my brother Lance and his wife Ginna are expecting their second child as well! It was joyous news indeed. Thankfully, we were already celebrating by eating :)

Here are some fun pictures of our day with family.
