About Us

Raymond and Meghan were married on June 28, 2008 and have been living in Louisville, KY ever since.

Raymond is attending the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is a Ph.D. student at SBTS. He will begin doctoral coursework in the fall of 2012 and specialize in New Testament Studies with an emphasis in Hermeneutics and the History of Interpretation.

Meghan is a full-time Housewife and Mommy.  She graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and worked for almost 2 years as a Barista at Starbucks.  Meghan is expecting to give birth to our second daughter, Charlotte Patricia Johnson, in either late January or early February 2012; her name means ‘Noble Woman,’ our prayer is that God would make that name true of her in Christ.

Abigail Renee, our first daughter, was born on September 1, 2010 and is the joy of her parents (hence her name which means ‘A Father’s Joy’).  She is currently smiling, walking, and ‘talking’ a lot and has learned how to touch just about everything that she can get her hands near.  She also loves to read books/have them read to her and point at all of the pictures.

The Johnson family attends Ninth & O Baptist Church, where Raymond is on staff as a ministerial intern who reports directly to the executive pastor, Dr. Jeff Elieff.  Currently, as a couple we are ministering with Dr. Blake Ring to a group of young adults who attend NAOBC in our Bible Fellowship Group.

We would love to hear from all of our readers.  Please leave comments/feedback below and we will answer any questions or address any issues as needed.
