At the beginning of August, Raymond and the girls and I headed down to Destin, Fl. My dad was already in Destin enjoying a little vacation for his birthday and he had no idea we were coming to join him for the week! We had a fun time surprising him – Emily and Robert picked us up from the airport and we snuck into the house to wait for him to come downstairs :) We all had a great week together relaxing and enjoying the beach.
Abigail wasn’t a big fan of the sand – she liked playing in it, she just didn’t want it to touch her feet. And, of course, she LOVED the ocean! I think it was our second time walking over to the beach that she pointed to the water and shouted, “Abigail’s pool!” Just so you know, Abigail has claimed the entire Gulf of Mexico for herself :)
Its really great getting to see Abigail interact with family at this age. She can still list everybody’s name from that trip :)
